Artist Statement:
In the 1990s my wall sculptures opened up and became more abstract, incorporating movement from front to back and using more negative space. Recently the glazing has become very painterly, providing a visual counterpoint or dialogue with the form.
Although the work is abstract in form, my objective is to create an object that gives the viewer a sense that something real is going on.All works are wall sculptures unless otherwise noted.
